Primary spring change on 800, then 800 lost 40lbs!!

I did some spring swapping today, one was a Dalton blue and the other was a Dalton orange blue. The blue had a 3/155 stall and the orange was a 25/167. I believe the stock spring is around 0/122. I tried the orange first. The stall was about 300-400 rpms higher then stock, but it wasn't that bad. It took off great, but I was hitting the rev limiter very quick. I know I was getting a lot of wheel spin, plus being on snow didn't help either. Even in 4x4 I was hitting it quick. So under the conditions I could not really get a good feel for it. Then I put the blue in. The stall was just about 100 rpms higher, but you allmost didn't notice it. The take off was very simular to stock, but it felt like it just kept climbing, where as the stock one would flatten out after about 35. So in the conditions I was in, I liked the blue over the stock much better, so for now that will stay in. I will have to wait until dry ground to be able to test the orange.
Now the weight loss. Some things are just not neede for GNCC racing, and rack and storage is one of them. So I took my rear rack and storage box plus my front storage box off. I could not believe how much they weighed. The rear rack was 16-17lbs, the rear storage box came in at 6lbs, and the front came in at 17-18lbs. So about 40lbs was taken off. This should help a lot.

when installing the winch all you had to do was take the bumper off, btw, nice findings on the weight loss and clutch, i donno if you want to take the front bumper/lights off but if you do, there not really that heavy, like 5 pounds i think as its made of nano-fiber
