I own a 1996 polaris scrambler 400 4X4 with several mods. Just to list a few, v force reed valves, clutch kit, full dg exhaust and silencer, .20 , k&n filter, ngk racing ignition, hopped up carb, fox racing shox, and dirt devil tires. My friend says that he is going to buy a 700 prarie and that it will smoke my scrammy, stock! What do you think?

very fast quad for all that weight

 

I've owned both and had many racing combinations bet. the 2! The prairie will always come out of the hole faster. But the scrammy won't be too far behind. Once the prairie hits 50, the scrammy will be able to gain ground back and will prob. have a slightly higher top-end than the prairie. If you wanna make sure he doesn't beat you, put some HPD mods on that scrammy!!

 

Get rid of that dang DG!

laugh all u want guys but F.Y.I. the dg was free when i bought the scrambler, all i did was slap it on and hop up my edlebrock carb. sometimes certain exhausts go best with certain mods. My brother would know!

 

Hell... cant beat free! Were just ball bustin a little. I just havent read much good about the fmf or dg head pipes.
