Matters how much he's willin to spend and how long he wants it to last.. Order from cheapest to expensiviest
Modify Airbox
Jet it
New Air Filter (K&N all the way)
New Sprocket's ( find out where u want ur power with em)
New Cams
New Reeds
New Rev Limiter
Full Exhuast system (the best out there is the ct sonic)
New Carburater
Bore it out (I think 783 is the highest not sure..)
Nos
Turbo

And a few little thing will help the pickup
New Tire's (offset)
Larger Swingarm (Improved stability, Damn raptor so damn short)
New Shocks
New Axle

Lighten It Up
Then U can shave fenders
Buy Lighter Skid plates
New Lighter Bumper
New Lighter foot pegs
(note only for the extreme racer)

Put that together and there's one hell of a crazy *** machine

Ignore Evolution, he doesnt know what hes talkin about...reeds on a 4-stroke??? Anyway, First get a full exhaust, try a HMF Full exhaust system, then get a Pro-Flow Intake kit, then get a Jet kit. These can all be found at: www.sweetquads.com Those mods will really wake up your raptor. Also, what year, type of ferrari is it? We used to get a 1986 328 GTS QuattroValvole for the sumer to work on, but this summer we are getting a 1997 355 Spyder.

I don't know about what evolution said, but 4-strokes don't have reeds. 2-strokes do. But anyway, i made up this list a week or so ago. I don't have a raptor yet, but i'm getting one this summer. So here's my wish list. All these parts/prices are from rocky mountain atv:

Armadillo Out-N-Back Spill Proof System $104.99
Armadillo Full Chassis Skid Plate $69.99
Ricochet Bullet Rear Swing Arm Guard $99.95
Outerwears Evolution Tribal Shockwears, Front (Red) $27.99
Outerwears Evolution Tribal Shockwears, Rear (Red) $16.99
Armadillo Chromoly A-Arm Guards $64.99
DG V-Pro Front Bumper $103.99
Woco Clear Radiator Hose Kit (Red) $84.99
DG Raptor Coolant Reservoir Guard $60.99
Hot Cams Camshaft Stage 1 $143.99*
Hot Cams Camshaft Stage 2 $143.99*
Tusk Top End Gasket Kit $19.99
UM Performance Aluminum Oil Tank $179.95
Yoshimura Comp Series Silencer $269.97
Armadillo Aluminum Gas Cap $49.95
Cascade Rear Chain Guide (Red) $35.99
Pro Design Case Guard $26.99
T.M. Designworks Chain Slider (White) $44.95
T.M. Designworks Powerlip Chain Roller, Lower (Black) $26.95
T.M. Designworks Powerlip Chain Roller, Upper (Black) $26.95
Galfer Steel Braided Brake Lines, Front (Black) $96.99
Galfer Steel Braided Brake Lines, Rear (Black) $35.99
Magura Hydraulic Clutch $199.99
Big Gun Rev Limiter $125.99
Pro Flow K&N Intake System $119.99
K&N ATV Jet Kit $57.99
Cascade Aluminum Thumb Throttle Cap $29.99
Pro-Tec Raptor Oil Filter Cooler/Protector $67.99
NGK Resistor Sparkplug DPR8EA-9 $1.89
Trailtech Billet Protector/Handlebar Clamp $74.99
Trailtech Speedometer/Computer $71.95

(*) Means i'm not sure, because u can just drop in the stage 1 cam, but with the stage 2 hot cam you have to replace the valve springs and the springs cost as much as the cam. But anyway, thats my wish list. At least half of that list i'm definately going to get. Some i'm not sure about. I hope this helps some and kinda gives you an idea on things and how much they actually cost too.
