stage three jetting
#1
A computerless co-worker just bought a 03 baja with a woods stage three already on it He thinks it runs a little flat and doesnt have the throttle response it should have, we think its carb related and I dont know how it should be, but here are the specs on the mods if someone can tell me the carb settings for it I'd sure appreciate it and I know he will too. He has 11.5/1 rwr piston a1/a2 cams shim under buckets on a ported head with bigger valves, a rwr ported intake, rwr cdi, tm-45, with snorkle and k-n no air box, rwr pipe. Any help is appreciated. John

Runs Flat = Jetted Fat
Runs like a two-stroke = jetted lean
Try leaning it out a little and see what happens.
Even better, take it to a dyno and get it tuned in for the altitude where you ride. Money well spent. He'll probably pick up a few more HP!

Hes willing to take it to a dyno but he wants to see if the right combination of pilot , and needle are in it before he goes. Thats why we're trying to find what other peoples setups are . And we are at about 900 feet elevation.

I'll have to tear into it and check for him. Alky is out of the question. Dont want him beating me up any worse. Thanks for the replys. John
