many people do a mod to there 300ex by putting a intake tube from the carb to the airbox from a 350X on the 300ex.
i was wondering what year 350X does the tube come off of.

I found out that it the same for 85 and 86 and there the same on both years anyway, but does the 350X tube have that little hole for a hose that connects to it like on the 300ex. I dont even know what it is for. I ran the engine with it off just to see what it did and it didnt seem to do anything but return air from the enigine to the intake tube to be reused again or something.

 

crank case vent maybe?
