I have owned both. I very much dislike the Warrior (I rode one for years)! Get the EX if you are on the smaller side. If you are bigger, get something like a 400EX.

I was in the same boat as you a year ago and i picked up a 02 300EX and don't regret it at all. I have herd alot of people say that the 300EX is a better choice. Check out my page I have lots of pics up of my bike!

Jees man how many times do you have to say that!

I would have to say go for the price. If you could get the warrior for cheap i'd get it. BUT if the 300ex is a few bucks more take it! But in no way the warrior a bad bike, just the 300ex is a better trail bike while the warrior would be better for dunes openfields

Deffinatly the ex, way more reliable. There isnt anything wrong with the warrior except for how heavy it is and the handling. The ex will burn it in the woods and the short run. The warrior just has a little more top end. Iv Raced a warrior and they do get you in the top end. But the 300ex is a wonderful quad and i have had NO problems with mine at all.

hah, warrior is 2 heavy, bad handling, but is a little faster at top end. The 300ex is Rated a better quad than the warrior, because its bullet proof, wonderful handling, VERY trustworthy and me personally i think it looks better, AND it tears up in the woods.

300 ex looks like a..........well it just looks horrible it may handle a bit better but i have always kicked there asses and there is no way ide ever go to a 300ex.... a 400ex yea a 400ex is actually better than a warrior but a 300ex vs a warrior i just cant see why ppl like the 300ex. The yamaha is just as reliable the quad has an amazing engine for how durable it is. My warrior with the mods hit 64mph and im pretty sure 300ex's dont come close to that more like...what ? 53mph
