has anyone tried the low volume insert for yoshi pipe?
#1
I'm getting a raptor in a while, (finally made my choice...) and when I get an exhaust, I'm thinking about getting the yoshimira stainless comp series. I noticed that in my rockymountain magazine, they sell a low volume insert. I was wondering if anyone has tried this. Does it make it quiet enough for the oregon dunes? And does it effect the power at all?
Thanks

Anything that restricts airflow restricts power...So you are going to lose some power with that quiet core ( no matter what) I am unsure how much though. But as for the dunes it says 96 but there is alot of loud people and as long as you don't **** people off you should be fine Have fun with your rappy.

You should be fine with the insert that's just smaller than the open pipe, that one is plenty. If you use the really small insert it'll be very close to the stock pipe's sound.
