How often do quads get stolen? and Why?
What is the reason they get stolen, is it the neighborhood, is it not putting enough chains or not putting strong enough chains or why?
What does the statistics has to say.

I think it all just depends on where u are, they seem to be a hot stolen item in some parts, i live in a quiet farming community and mines not been bother, Heck my banshee sets in a wide open equipment shed a good distance away from the house, I think the main reason some of them get stolen is to part out and make a profit off of, i know if i was a theif i definatly wouldnt steel one and ride it every weekend.

to much, we had one stolen last memorial day weekend while we were camping, and the quad was locked up. we woke up in the morning, they had came into our camp, cut it free and took it out without us waking up. These people are good at what they do, but someone needs to catch them with there gun in hand and take care of these thieves!

i agree with bluebansh, i know a couple of people that have stolen a few quads...the first thing they do it rip it apart and burn the plastics, next is grinding the numbers off. they then sell and make a huge profit. we have ALOT of raptors stolen around here, more then any other kind of quad.

I had one stolen from me and it will not happen again I have a kryptonite cable that I lock between mine and my dads so there chained togather and I have a kryptonite lock on my hasp to lock em up and were i pull them under my house the door is only about 5 foot wide i pull my car rite up against it so they will have to bust the blocks out from under my house to get to em or hot wire my car and move it and then cut the hasp and then cut the cable and then pick it up to roll it because its in reverse and the e brake is on just to make it a little harder WAAAHAHAHHAHA and by this time i will hear them and make my way out the back door and WILL PLANT EITHER A 30/6 SHELL SKS-357-38-12 GAUGE-22 FULLY AUTO-OR MY FAV MY DADS OLD DOUBLE BARRLE 12 GAUGE WITH A SLUG IN BOTH SIDES SO ALL I can say is he better be in good with god because I would end his life with no regrets!!!!!! theres nothing and I mean nothing I hate more than theives they all should be shot and if one comes back in my yard and I see him I WILL DO THE WORLD A FAVOR AND GET RID OF HIM OR HER

my uncle kept his Z400 outside behind his house with the key left in it. one day it got stolen and he figured out who it was. called the cops and they were too slow. its gone. the story is some kid wanted it and HIS DAD said he would steal it FOR HIM! the kid is like 12 or something. sad story. now my uncle has a yfz and is pleased with it. but my advise to ppl is dont leave your quad out in the open. my grandparents have been stolen from twice while they were out at church. some ppl broke into their house on Christmas eve and stole all of their Christmas presents and all the guns they could find (one being a old shotgun that was a family hierloom *spelling?* worth $4000). there are some really low people out there. my advise is that it pays to be careful. if you arent then youll be sad the day that your atv shows up missing. part of it may be the area. there are a lot of low lives around here (not to diss arkansas) but ppl WILL do it and get away with it if your not careful. the other thing about ppl stealing atv's is that those are the kind of people that are going to abuse the right to ride it and most likely get in trouble with the law therefore setting a bad name for those of us who love riding and ride legal + safe. just my 2 cents. had to throw it in there. phew, now i have that off my chest...
