does anyone know how fast a preditor 90 is. I was looking around for an atv for my 10 year old son and i dont want to get something that he is going to get bored on right away. I heard that the yamaha raptor 80 only goes about 20, i dont know if it is true or not. I have a yamaha 60 atv for my 5 year old son and that goes about 25 but the 10 year old looks like a monster on it.

I would seggest the yamaha blaster. Its a 200cc its actually pretty peppy. It has a 2 stroke engine wich is air cooled. It will go pretty fast but you can always set the limiter. I should fit him nice for seveeral years to come. One other thing it is a manual i dont know if that is what you want or if that is a problem. visit yamaha.com and check it out.

I think the Predator would be small fit for a 10yo. The Blaster would be a little much. They are very snappy but the size would be right. I just bought my 8yo son a quad and he loves it. I would suggest it but you say you want the best. Good luck.

I got my 9 year old daughter a Honda 250ex. It's easy to ride (autoclutch) it's light and it's totally bulletproof. Just change the oil and clean the airfilter.

For 10 yr old just starting out I would find a Yamaha 125 Breeze or the new version the 125 Grizzly. They cost more than the mini quads but they aer very user friendly and have enough power to pull any adult.I will say this about them though they are the most UNDERRATED small quad built. My son rode one for 3 yrs until he graduated up to a modded 250 Trailblazer.
