Just out of curiosity, how many lbs of boost are guys getting away with on turboed DS?

I did a quick search and didn't come up with anything close.

 

Anywhere from 8 ps to 25+ psi. I think Scooby is the only one running 25+ though. I wouldnt give a stock motor more then about 10 or 12 on race gas.

 

Scooby is ahead of other's on the DS650 turbo! He's been doing his for five years & the FIRST turbo DS!

 

I wouldnt give a stock motor more than 5lbs.

 

I'm running about 11 psi.

 

how are u turbo guys getting oil to the turbo? do u have a oil pump or how els. laugh all u guys want but im gona turbo my blaster. ya i know its a blaster but hye... y not. any info will help

somethin i forgot to ask input on. would i be better off havin the turbo right off the block, like cut the header pipe and have the turbo right off the block, or where the airbox is. my thinkin is cause its a 2 stroke if its right off the block im gona loose some power cause the header pipe will be gone, but the turbo will spool better. if its where the airbox is i dont think it will loose power, but it wont spool as much. ive seen some turbo ds's with itright off the block and others behind the motor after the header pipe so i was wonderin if u guys had any sugestions. anyone got any ideas?
