Default Glacier Plow System

Hi:

Just bought a 2005 Sportsman 400 and want to install the Glacier Plow System on it. I'm leaning towards the 56" 2 Way Razor. Someone mentioned that this plow is actually 60" wide. Does anyone know this to be true? My trailer is 60" wide and a 60" wide blade won't fit between the sides of the trailer. I plan on using the plow for mainly plowing snow, but also plan on using it for light dirt/gravel leveling.

Thanks!

if you have a 60 inch plow you can still turn the plow blade angle so that is will fit into the trailer as long as you have a bit of extra space lengthwise. I have the glacier blade on my 700EFI and the plow works great, the only thing I don't like is that you have to get off the quad to change the angle of the blade but I read a post where someone was going to try to add the remote plow blade angle cable.

I have the Razor blade on mine and it's 60 inch wide but as silverbullet2005 said you can just angle it to fit in your trailer. I don't know if they come in different widths though because I thought I seen a brochure that said 56" Razor but when I ordered mine it was 60 and that's what it said on box.
Also Polaris has a handle that sticks up to angle it while seated, but it wouldn't be any good for me because of the fairing/windshield.

Yes, Razor blade sais 56" in book but in reality it measures 60" wide and when angled about 54" wide when measured perpendicular to the frame lengthwise.

Do yourself a favor and before you install the mounting plate that hangs on the quad. drill a hole in the plate for the front diff drain plug. That way you will never have to take the plate off just to change the fron diff fluid.
