for what kind of riding ? dunes-no ,hills-ok,drags -no, mx-no,xc-with $$$, trails and play riding-YES.i personally dont like the feel of the warrior or banshee. they dont seem to have the correct balance for jumping either. i like the feel of a honda. also seems as if the warrior engine is very durable.i myself would check out the 400ex if you looking in the 2000-3000 price range and want a 4-stroke. not the meanest, but also has more power. and the honda durability is built -in !!

the warrior is one of the slowest quads i have ever raced against. i see absolutely no positive attributes on the warrior that my pred cant beat. my pred has more torque and HP, its faster, and it doesnt cost too much more. Dont make the mistake of buying a warrior, you wont be happy with it.

hey SLICK , maybe he was buying used !the title read are warrior 350s a good quad.they are good play quads!! he didnt ask if YOUR predator is better! we all KNOW it is. why are predator owners always the most argumentative people on all forums i have been to? i have a 250r ,you would beat me in a race SFW . if i were you i would get some of that ENZYTE........ and leave the guy alone!!! by the way your tranny is ready to EXPLODE!!!! Love my Warrior. Great little machine for trail riding, having fun in the pits and such. No it's not the fastest, but a stock one will go over 60 if you give it room and you're not too heavy... that's plenty fast for me. Not sayin I wouldn't like more power though .. top speed of over 60 is plenty fast, but it takes a while to get there .... accelleration is more to my liking which the Warrior does OK, but not great. Power to weight ratio is not really good.
Also, the warrior is pretty much bullet proof reliable!! The Pred, as good as it is, doesn't have the reliability of the tried, tested and true Warrior ...
However .. if you have it in your budget, and you're old enough/responsible enough .. get a used Z/KFX 400 ... they've got all the things that are good about the Warrior (4 stroke efficiency and torque, reverse ...) but more power, better handling and lighter. Used 400EX's are very similar to the Z/KFX, but without reverse .. gotta get the '05 for that feature, but also a bullet proof machine!
