If I would have bought either the 01 auto Cat 500, or the 01 Kodiak 400 last week, I could have bought the Cat for $5949.00, or the Kodiak for $5795.00 at the 2 dealers closest to where I live. They each were selling the Warn winch for $69 to go with each one also. But I have to take each one for a test drive possibly before I make my final decision. This won't be for a while, because I have to pay off a few things before I stick my neck out to far again But at those prices I would have probably bought the Cat, because- look at the price difference! A little more power for around 200 bucks more. And I think the Cat has a little better of a 4wd system than the Kodiak. Plus the Cat has a lot of torque! More than the 600 Grizzly, I think. Truthfully they are both great machines, and it will be a tough decision for me when my time comes Get a hold of Cowboy, because he has a 00 500 auto Cat and he loves it.
