I'm a little New at this Small engine stuff....
How do I learn about the Jetting Carbs etc....?
Would this be in a Service Manual?
I love doing the Mods to make Engines run better but I need to know basics First ...
Any Help or tips....

PJ, Welcome.
there are tons of things about jetting carbs, changing midrange, etc. the best thing to probably do is get a few carb manuals. i know aaen performance and several other aftermarket co's have them. so things are trial and error, knowing plug readings, what each part in the carb does, and so on. this may not seem too helpful, but like i said there are books written about it. just not enough room on 1 page. as far as the service manual for a specific machine some will give you a little of the basics, but as some as you get into mods there not much help. the forums are a good place to start though. almost any question you run into can be found here.

My 500 is stock jetting 400 is a 240 250 is a HPD jet that came with the pipe and clutch kit.
