if i can overnight my flywheel to u on saterday will u be able to get it done in on monday and overnight it back?

OK ,, I'll do it .

Do this , save the money on overnight ship and MAIL it regular , I'll have it Saturday , I will set it up Saturday , Have it machined on Monday , ship on Tuesday , you should see it Wendsday . You are in Illinois so you will have one day service UPS I do believe . I don't think I can get it on the UPS truck Monday , not enough time , might be able to mail Monday though , drop off time is 5 pm .

hey thanks rick. ill talk to my mom tomorrow night but i wont be able to get it off till saterday. i can ship it at the ups store saterday though and ill jsut pay the extra 10 bucks to do it. is that gonna be enough time. i dont need it till thursday. i could also drop it in one of those mailing bags at the post office, how fast would that get it there?

 

If you take it on Saturday , I won't have it til Tuesday . UPS does not move on weekends . Mail service moves on Saturday , maybe get it to the post office before noon Saturday .


This is gettting harder and harder by the post .. :-)

 

i cant get to the P.O. before noon on sat. busy[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] this is starting to look like it wont happen. if i take it to the post office on saterday afternoon can they airmail it?

 

I don't know what time the mail pulls out of your town in your area . REMEMBER --we are in the same state , I don't know if airmail will do any good .

Do what I do if you are busy , DON'T GO TO SLEEP !!!! WORK WORK WORK !!! :-)

I take it the quad is not at your residence , is that the problem ?

hey rick,do you have any flywheels already done sitting on the shelf?maybe you can work something out with a core charge and send one before you get his,just a thought..

 

Working for the post office I know that if you guys are in the same first 3 digits of a zip then if you mail it on monday it will be there on tuesday.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] UPS takes forever to deliver.

 

I've asked him this before and he said that he didn't.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

 

I have core heads , carbs , and cylinders for 250's and 400's .

I have no core flywheels . Flywheel condition varies so much , chipped magnets , heavy rust , wallowed key ways .

The guy who sends in a nice one and recieves an old one back is not being treated fairly and the guy who gets a nice one and returns his crummy one and for a core refund is going to be unhappy if I can't refund it .

Coring flywheels can lead to PO'd customers , I'd rather not do it , I would prefer returning the customers own flywheel .
