85 and 86 250r atc

hey does anyone know if the wirung harnesses on the 85 and 85 honda 250r atc are the same or not? thanks for the info!

if i remember they are a little different. if you have a Clymer, the information is covered for all models and years from 85+ in the back of the book.

i was told that the cdi box is different but if you use an 86 on an 85 your suppose to use the whole thing. no mix match but i bought mine off of ebay and mine is probably mix matched and works fine
