I have been hearing that Polaris of Chattanooga is going out of biz because of false warranty claims. Rumor is that Polaris and Polaris of Chattanooga are in court right now over the issue and they are going to lose there right to sell Polaris products. I hope it's not true because I really like there prices...

That is where I SHOULD have bought my quad from. I would have saved at least $700 and they are only 150 miles away from my original dealer.

maybe their price was $700 less because as soon as you buy the ATV, in goes a false warranty claim for $700. who knows!

dealers in my area would show me their invoice to prove the loss they'd be taking if they matched Pol of Chatt's prices.

i also heard from a local dealer that Polaris had some gripe with them as well.

I have heard alot of guys on this forum say that thier prices were untouchable. when I got my two 700EFI's I got them for $7250 each-out the door including tax. I did have to pay $11 each for title fee but I made the deal including two HJC AC-X2 chromium helmets($249 each) and two pairs of scott goggles($19.99 each) and I bought one ORV sticker and they gave me a second for FREE. they did me good, my salesman was really cool and showed me the slips and they only made $86 on each quad after it was all said and done. then I came back and talked to them about a glacier plow and warn winch setup and they gave me the 60" glacier setup with a 2.5ci winch installed out the door for $725. and then sold me my polaris hand guards at cost of $23 and some change. what a great place and wonderful experience. just so everyone knows it's Weiss Equiptment and supply in Frankenmuth, Michigan.

There are several other polaris dealers that sell within 100.00 of chattanoogas price, I bought my 800 from them, but they have droped 650.00 since jan., one dealer in ga, and one in ala. another in fla, are all within 100.00 of each other, they all advertise in the cycle trader's, as to bogus waranties, I dont buy it, they have been in disputes due to other cry baby dealers complaining to polaris about them selling too cheap, but as a little checking will show you, if 3 or 4 dealers can sell at 1000.00 under list, there must be a heck of a markup on atvs, so the crybabies are mad cause they can't hit a homerun on every sell. also, dealer price invoice sheets dont mean much, they are like auto dealers, they get hold back money from the manufac. acording to how many units they move in a year. and I garantee if you get the incentive, winch, plow or whatever, they made a good profit on you, cause the pay dealer cost for those items, thats why the low price dealers dont honor the gimicks, they can sell cheaper that way. as to cost of a 05 700 efi, My son paid 6650.00 out the door for his at chattanooga. Oh, and it was the limited edition Dale Ernhardt Jr. model. Right now, the 05- 800 is 7383.00

Got mine from them ... they were $1200.00 less than any dealer in my area ... well worth the 11 hour drive each way!

I agree, they're not selling under cost, they are still making money, but the dealers in that part of the country want to make ALOT of money.....there are two ways to sell, either by quantity or at a higher price selling less.....the quantity will also get you the service of the locals if they buy from you, the true money comes in service, the same at car dealerships....

The dealer prices here are high...I went in looking at a KLR650 at one of the dealers, they said to come back with the best price and they would beat it....I told them 'no you won't, thats why I didn't buy my Sportsman from you'....the sales person looking at me like she couldn't believe I said it.....I laughed...
