Default Air Box Mod on 05 700 EFI

I was wondering if anyone has done this and if so what does it do for you more low end or top end ?? thanks

i just orderd a TPI valve for my air box to try. What type of air box mod were you talking about?

i was thinking of the one with the scoop part for a 800 onto a 700.

Default Air Box Mod on 05 700 EFI

I ordered the snorkel for the 800 to put on my 700, since I had to order the radiator guards due to a stick almost taking my radiator out. There is another thread on here about it if you do some searching. I'm also waiting for the Power Commander to come out next month for the '05 700 EFI to help adjust to the snorkels increased air flow...

In general if you add air, you can add gas. Add both in the right mixture and that is where more power comes from. That is the purpose behind exhaust, filter, and jet kit combos.
