I have a '01 DS650. Can somebody tell me where the hose that comes out of the bottom right side of the engine attaches to? I asked a dealer near me but the retards dont have a clue even after showing them the hose in the parts manuel. Also unless I keep the engine reved up the motor wants to stall out and makes a sucking air noise. Doesnt matter if engine cold or been running all day. thanks guys!

The hose coming from the front right of the DS engine is a vent hose the routes up to one of your intake hoses. My best guess is that you have knocked your carb lose from the intake boot. Mine has done that from slamming the face of steep dunes. The fact your hose is flopping and you don't know where it goes suggests it may have been pulled out or at least tampered with disturbing the carb in the process. Good luck!

If your talking about the right side as you sit on the bike, the hose is a crank vent hose. This hose should attach to the air box unless it was re-routed like mine. I have a small filter attached to the end of the hose and it tucks under the seat.
