Default Trailblazer clutch kit?

I am debating over the hpd trail clutch kit for $90 and the hpd aggresive $150 kit. Does anybody know if it would be worth the extra $60 to go for the aggresive or will the trail kit give me all i need. I have a performance pipe and new jettings to match the pipe setup.

if the only mod you have is the pipe i would go with the trail set up. may not benefit completely with only a pipe, but thats just mo.

I run the stock helix with the stock weights. I only have a primary and violet secondary spring. I think the stock helix and weights work fine especially if your on a budget.

Trailblazerchick, check the belt deflection, I bought my wife an 05 and the belt was way too loose. Tightened the belt and changed the primary clutch spring from stock to a white spring and made a huge difference. Was like it was starting out in second gear before, now it really takes off good. Only cost me 18 bucks for new spring.

I am sorry but I dont understand what a white spring is....does it have a name or is it just known as a "white spring"? What do I ask for when I talk to the dealer? Is it just one spring or two? Is there a part # for it? Is it made for a trailblazer 250 or is it off another bike? Any questions that you can answer would be great. Thank you so much!

Well for starters let me just say that I think it's great to see more women riding and taking an interest in modding their quad!!

A white spring is a Polaris spring that will give you a little bit higher engagement (you will have to give it more gas before it moves) than a stock spring will. Your dealer should have it in stock and if not should be able to order it no problem.

Hpd's websit is HPD

Good luck on modding your quad. Don't hesitate to ask anything on this forum. There are a bunch of great (and knowledgeable) people on this site. The only dumb question is one that isn't asked.
