I'm talkin by the engine and frame. Things that have broken on them or things people have had problems with them.

I bought a 1994 Banshee new in late '93. Have never had a problem with it yet. Will probably replace the top end for the first time after this season. Couldn't hope to find a quad easier to maintain or more reliable. Wouldn't trade it for anything currently on the market.

There are rumors that Yamaha plans on redesigning the banshee for 2002. New 4 stroke followed by a new 2 stroke go Yamaha!

There IS something new on the 2001 Banshee. They put a new tail light on it!!! YAY! That was much higher on my list of priorties than the air box, or chain adjustment!

Gotta give thoes honda's something to look at!

Another 2 stroke? Where did you hear this? I doubt there will ever be another 2 stroke produced besides the banshee. Would like to see it, though.

Later,

jason

From what my dealer's tech told me, the 2002 Banshee will be renamed the Banshee MX. Supposedly it will be "race ready" no detuning of the motor or suspension. In other words, pipes, porting, larger carbs, more suspension travel. Everything in one package! All you have to add is chrome! Puttin' my money away right now!
