Just curious.....
You have a 2004 ?
I'm thinking of getting a Vinson..........but it worries me that someone would have to replace a belt so early. Maybe I should get a manual.........or a Kodie 450.

Good question. Why do you need to change it? I have 2600 hard miles on my eiger and its still good.
But to change it is fairly simple. Do you have a repair manual? you should get one. Remove the belt cover. there should be 2 holes in the back pulley, put 2 bolts from the cover in em and tieghten them, this will open the pulley and allow the belt to come off.

I was thinking the same thing. That is too new of a machine to need the belt replaced. I have 1500 miles on mine, and about 400 on my wifes with no problems.
Follow the above post though. It should be pretty straight forward.
Good luck!

hello everyone. Thanks for the replies and info. to answer your questions. I have 3640miles on my 2004 vinson 500 auto. I love to ride and ride hard. So in my case I did not think replacing a drive belt at this point was any big deal. After all that is a lot of miles and the only problem I have run into.
