Default Best 4x4 for Sport Riding

Looking at buying a new 450+cc sport ute 4x4 machine...Just confused by all the choices. Looking for some real life experiences to help focus my attention on the best machines.

I'm 35, 6'1" and about 210 lbs. I currently have a CRF250X and use it to race HS, trail ride etc. But I want a quad! I ride in the midwest with an occasional trip to Colorado. So most of my riding will be in the woods, some tight, some not so tight. A few rocks, some mud and nice hill climbs.

I'm looking for a bigger quad that has a sporty feel to it. But I also want 4x4. I don't plan on using to do any work...maybe an occasional job or two, but nothing major. Maybe 95% play & 5% work.

So...My question...(drum roll please)....What is the best sport 4x4 big quad?

P700, Brute Force 650. 750. Great trail atv's. I haven't had much time on the 750. I think I would rather have a solid rear axle. But the 750 has awesome ground clearance. Kawi needs to fuel inject it!!

Well, I have a hard time thinking of a 600+ pound beamouth utility as being even slightly "sporty". I ride my utilities as "go anywhere sport bikes", and that is the reason that I will probably never own anything bigger than the Rancher. The Rancher is the in between machine......big enough to do the job, but not so heavy and huge that you might just as well have bought a Jeep.
