DS 650 FOR ONLY $5,449?
#1
Yesterday afternoon I called Stubbs Cycle Southwest(Houston, Texas) and inquired about the DS650. I was shocked when the "salesman" stated the price for the 2001 model which is "due in any day now" will only be $5,449. I do not know much about DS 650's, but I thought the price ranged from the mid $6k's to over $7000. Can this be true, if so, it would make my decision to get one of these over a Raptor much easier. This leads me to my second question, due to the nature of my business I tape all incoming and outbound calls from my phone, therefore, I have this guy on tape quoting me that price. Is this legally binding?
Thanks for any help you can give on this matter.

Thats a damn good price.
I doubt you could force him to sell you one for that if it was a mistake. Couldn't he just say, "we had one, but it was sold".
Or maybe its like the shipping/handing scams on the internet. You know where you find a good price on something and then get ready to order it and find out the shipping is 5 times what UPS charges.
...That will be $5,449 for the DS + $1,599 for setup/dealer prep...
