Default MudLite XTR???

I picked up the April Dirt Wheels yesterday and saw an advertisement for a new Radial MudLite tire. The photo looked like a cross between a 589 and a MudLite. It was an aggressive looking tire.

Has anyone heard of this? Is there any reviews available?

I've been looking to upgrade the tires on my Rubicon. I've been going back and forth between the MudLites and the DU Wetlands. This new radial MudLite just might be the ticket!

Thanks

Edited to add:
They also had a VERY cool looking c-series type 7 wheel. I saw no mention of either of these items on ITP's web site.

there isn't anything on www.itptires.com yet about these. I looked in the new products section and they didn't list anything yet sounds like a sweet tire though.

I found this press release on Motovan: Click Here

The pics are a lot better in Dirt Wheels, but you'll get the idea. Those c-series type 7 wheels are 14". They look good but you gotta wonder how they will be on the trail.

Maybe the ride is OK, they must be better on fast trails - but you need new rims too! Bet you're looking at $700 minimum through discounters on the web.

My 26" DU Wetlands came today. More gnarly than the picture. Really square tire instead of the rounded off balloons I have now.

Dropped them off to get mounted, anxious to try them. I think I made the right choice - for me.

Check out the prices on www.4atvtires.com They are listing the 26-9-12 at $113.95. They only have the 26" tires listed at the moment. Looks like a seet tire but at that price I think I'll wait on them.

only problem with those new 17" rims is that there is only one tire made that fits them and thats the mudlite xtr.

it's a 14" rim and the mudlite xtr isn't the only tire go to purepolaris.com and check out the wheels/tires section the Kenda Bounty Hunter is a 14" tire. I'm sure there are others or ITP would not make a wheel. nice looking wheel though from what I can see on that grizzly in the picture, know where there is a close up view? figures they come out with a new wheel after I go and buy my new 27's.

I just got my issue of DW that's why I'm late on the post about them.
Damn subscriptions!

I like them, at least the looks and the idea of radials.
