Default quadracer head swap

Does anyone on here know if you can use an "87" quadracer cylinder head on an "88" cylinder? visually all i can see that is diferent is the 87 dome seems to be a little smaller. i know the heads are slightly diferent but will it work?

Read this. The 88 head looks to have a smaller volume which would raise the compression. The squish angle is also different.
