I was reading about the new 450r and it said it has a 42mm Keihin carb. with tps (throttle position sensor) What the hell does it use a tps for?!?! They but em on cars so it can tell the pcm how much fuel to send to the injectors. But y would a quad need one when it has niether injectors or a computer???? Does it have something to do with the jets?????
Anybody know????

 

I think it has to do with the electronic advance in the cdi box and fuel
