Just wondering.....

I'm looking at buying a new or used Vinson.

After new 26" mudlites and taxes, a used 2002 Vinson will cost me $2700 cdn less than a 2005. ( $6900 as opposed to $9600 )


My question is....

In 2002, the Vinson was a 1st year model....I think it had frame, bad motor mounts, and shifter problems..


How do I check to see if this was taken care of and are there still problems with the 2002s that can't be fixed......or should I just go with the 2005?


And yes....I realize I can get a Brute Force 650 for the same money but dont want one

 

You are in Ontario, are ATV's that expensive there? A NEW 2005 Vinson can be got for about $5600-$6000.
Depending where your at here in states. $6900 for an 02 is $1300 more than I got my NEW vinson for OTD early last year. Ive heard of some probs the older ones had with frames and engine mounts and shifter but the newer 03-05s seem to have fixed them. I personnally havnt had any problems with my 03 that i havnt caused.
