Need help quick about Polaris Brakes ????

My Mom has a 2002 Trail boos 325. the last few weekends of riding her bike started having a parking brake problem. We noticed it when the bike strated rolling down hill after it had been parked for several minutes. we drove it back up and locked the parking brakes again and several minutes later it took off again down hill.
What would cause the brakes to fail after they have been locked and where holding good and then they just turn loose. could the pads be worn and cause this ??
The pads look like the are in good shape and the rotors dont' have any marking / scratches on them.
Thanks JP

I am not an expert, but maybe after a short period of time, the brake fluid has either some air or maybe water in the brake fluid. ????? Good Luck. Maybe some of the others on here can shed some light on the problem.

Not a huge expert on brakes...so people correct me where I am wrong....
the actual "parking bark" is basically just hit the normal brakes...It does not look the transmission at all....when the brakes are applied for an extended period of time the pressure you built up by pulling the brake lever will disapate causing the brakes to lose the grip and the bike to roll...
correct me if i am wrong guys

We will try to bleed the brakes and thatnks for the quick response guys.
BTW it's all hydraulic no cables for the parking. Still not sure why they would loose there pressure
everything is all orignal and never been changed or fooled with.
Thanks again , maybe some of the brake experts can chime in and help out also.

LOL getuaload. My owners manual for my Trailblazer says not to park on a hill using the parking brake. It says that you should put a rock or.. under a tire to hold the quad on a hill. You might want to check your owners manual.
I hope this helps you

Another non-expert chiming in. Isn't the master cylinder similar to a car? I've had that problem on my older cars and it is fluid leaking around the master cylinder piston - allowing pressure to drop. Brakes work fine as long as you don't hold them for a period of time. Assuming there is no fluid leak in the system - that seems logical.

I got to agree with KINGSCLEAR. My manual says the following:

The parking brake may relax if left on for a long period of time. Always block the wheels to prevent rolling.
