Don't paint it with regular spray paint ,it will chip .
Therese a new paint out maid by Crylon It's called Fusion ,I've painted the front grill on my Ford F150 and the bug deflector this past summer , it still looks like I just painted it yesterday.going on 5 good snow storms later.
It's under $5.00 a can .

Wal-mart is where I found it .
It's ment for plastic ,there's an etching compound in it that's helps adhere to the plastic ,the same as the body shops use on plastic bumpers .
It also spreads out to help prevent paint runs .
I don't have the can in front of me, but I remember seeing on it that no sanding was required ,I think it was guaranteed not to chip .Don't hold me to that

I suggest not to paint your plastic unless you are an expert of spray paint...i have seen oh so many of times when someone gets an idea to custom paint jobs and it ends up lookin like crap...not to mention plastic is probably one of tha harder surfaces to do it on because of easily running on plastic...although if u are handy with tha paint it kould look good...
