Jetting a 450R

Hey guys -
I have a 04 TRX450R. A few weeks ago I bought an FMF PowerBomb header and an FMF Powercore 4 pipe. At that same time I bought an FMF POWER UP JET KIT. I installed the header and the exhaust with no problems but, I chickened out when it came time to install the power up kit and there in is my question. How hard is it to install one of these power up jet kits? I read the instructions and it didn't sound to bad. But, before I rip into it I'd like to hear from some of you guys that have done this stuff before. I'd rate myself as and average to above average rider but, my mechanical skills are simply average. My girlfriend’s dad can take a carb a part in his sleep but I'd rather not have to ask him for help. If this is something as simple as "if you can follow the instructions you'll be fine" then great but, if it something more like "you better know a lot about what you are doing" then I'll have to consider having it done for me.
I'd really like to do it myself because I am a firm believer that you should be able to work on what you ride.

Awesome. Thanks for the words on encouragement. I've got a shop manual and the jet kit instructions in hand so we'll see what happens. I'll take a stab at it on Wednesday that way if I screw it up I have some time to get it in to the shop before the weekend!
