The Chinese are coming!!
#1
Hi folks, I keep seeing these Chinese ATV's pop up in the consumer ATV market. Check out this article on their push at the dealer shows. Could easily add more competition to the US market, once the quality improves, and level out some of the growth of the current big ATV manufacturers.

I just bought a Redcat rfx 110 for my son about 2 months ago. It is made by Kazuma motor company. Kazuma and Yamoto are maybe the biggest supplier of the chinese quads to the U.S. market. For the price you just cant beat it. For quality it is made very strong but they need to learn more about design. Like suspension mainly. The suspension is very stiff and can be tippy at times. It can easily be fixed with better shocks. My sons Redcat has more features then most of the expensive name brands at half the cost. It runs great with lots of power and it looks really cool. The motors are either Honda design or a Yamaha design so reliability on the motor has already been proven. Everything that they use on the atv's are of good quality but you need to go over and tighten all the nuts and bolts because they dont know how to use a torque wrench. This is definately going to be a huge market in these atv's.
