check hod for a dyno to verify but.

5750rpm if memory serves me correct. If you are going to play with clutch springs for the stock, pipe please share the info with me. I'm really like to know what spring you are using and what you are seeing for engaement rpm and shift out rpm.

thanks conig, I think with my mild port job and head work I will shoot for 6000 shift out. I'm gonna start with a erlandson bright green primary spring. its COLD up here in MN. so I won't be doing any testing till it warms up some. but will keep you posted.

cool, man. what tach did you get? and what wires does it hook up to for signal. theres a 2 1/8 sunpro I am thinking of getting to tune my clutches in.

I'm curious what your setup is becuase I think mine is going to be similiar. Im having some motor work done and am going to polish the ports before reasembly just smooth the flashes basically. I run the stock pipe and was thinking I would shoot for the same rpm level.

yes on the quad, theres a empty teminal next to the yellow/red wire. put one on there and the other on the long strip with browns, several empty terminals there to plug into

tried erlandson bright green. made little difference. 2300 eng. and 5900 shift out. so I grabbed a comet silver from my snowmobile springs and got 3200 eng. and shift out 6200 . pulls hard on top. I think a pipe is in my future!! what pipe?? I would like to reuse my dg silencer. cyl. is trail ported and plugged with a cut head. any used performance pipes out there?
