it does not eliminate the lid
combine the pro-flow kit with filter and a slip-on or full exhaust system,,,and some jetting work,,,,,,,,,,and i would call that a good start

Yes, I'm guilty of that... I guess it's just the little bit of dirt bike blood that I'll never get rid of... A lot of people I know around here have them, and they love them. Plus I can have a better grip on the right grip. I can't get out of my old ways,

I thought that you could get rid of the airbox lid because it changes the filter to a clamp-on style?

most people that switch em,,,,,end up going back to thumb
it just aint the same as on a 2 wheeler
(and I would never consider a thumb trottle on a bike)

Thanks, yea that's the beauty of the motion pro set up, it's only 37 dollars and it is very simple to install, you don't even have to touch the carbs. I definately plan on keeping the thumb throttle, just in case. I know it won't be just like a bike, but I can pretend that it's like my old dirt bike? haha
I'll let everyone know how it turns out. The only thing that might be a problem is hard turns, because you have to twist your wrist instead of move that little thumb throttle.
And just so everyone knows, I have no regrets going from a bike to a quad.
