Raptor is waxy?
#1
It appears the previous owner of my Raptor put some sort of waxy chain lube on the chain. My question is what will remove this gunk? It is on the sprocket and all over the swing arm. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Are you trying to say, I have bought some sprocket cleaner from Rocky Moutain ATV and it works great?

Try something that won't hurt the o-rings.
I use Spray9 or SimpleGreen. A little elbow grease, and turn the wheel.
Try not to 'scrub' the chain. You can brush it, but don't be too hard on it.
That should do the trick.

Try automotive brake cleaner.
I use CRC Brakleen, chemical proof rubber gloves purchased from Home Depot, and cheap paper towels (they have less lint than the expensive ones) for any number of car/bike/quad/jetski clean up chores.
I most recently used it to clean the chain on my Honda NX250 dualsport prior to applying a fresh coat of chain wax.
CRC Brakleen cleans well, leaves little or no residue, doesn't seem to hurt the rubber O-rings in the drive chain (my NX250 is an '88 model so I've been doing this for a while), and virtually eliminates the "elbow grease" part of the equation. I buy Brakleen at PEP Boys Auto Parts for about $10 a gallon.
