More on that Honda thing...
Hmmm the other thread is locked.
I've seen the same Honda commercial advertizing the new Honda SUV. Sort of looks like that Chevy thing, 4 doors, bob tail. I think I recall at least 2 maybe 3 times they say "best of all it's a Honda". Now Honda cars have a good reputation but they are trying to sell this thing based on hondas past successes by saying that. This vehicle could be a piece of crap even though it's a honda. Or it could be a real nice vehicle. But they're betting on the honda rep to sell a new vehicle. Now I know other car manufactors do the same thing. I've just been seeing this commercial all the time and it is a new market and new vehicle for honda.

Ive been thinking the exact same thing. I'm always thinking, im in the market for a new truck and was wondering the "real" size of the Honda "truck"
Do you think its dodge dakota size? It would be kinda cool to have a honda truck pulling my honda ATV'S.

I think a truck aught to LOOK like a truck. But maybe that's why I drive a Dodge.

That's it...Avalache (sp?).. Sorry if you have one but it doesn't appeal to me and I don't see how it appeals to anyone else but it does. My truck has 4 doors, but it also has an 8' bed. A Ford Super Duty. With my 12-14" tool box I can put either ATV in and close the tailgate.

Oh dont get me wrong,, I agree 100% with american trucks. I have a 1997 f150 4x4 with 130,000 trouble free miles (knock on wood) And I have an old 79 gmc 4x4 that is good for loads of wood and going to the camping spot. Ive always had an eye for dodge and there great sound and looks also.
Ya know the more I think about it... It would be darn hard to say to my buddies " Ill go home and grab the ol HONDA and meet ya at the fishing hole" Just dont sound right!
You gotta be able to say ol chevy, or the ol blue oval, or the ol GMC, or the ol dodge.
it just kinda struck my eye........ and now I have a little interest in one. Probally not to buy but it would be cool to check out... so if anyone does let us know, cab size, etc....

Sometimes I feal it is good for the big three ford, chevy, dodge to have some one test them from time to time. Im not bran loyal but I still like checking out which brand took first, second, third after the race.

They have a comparison on the Honda website. Each to his own. Just don't care for the looks.

You talkin' about the new Ridgeline? Yeah it does look like a ripoff of the Chevy Avalanche. I saw it at the Detroit Auto Show and was way less than impressed. You know what they say about first impressions...well the looks alone did it for me. I stopped for maybe one second. Ew. I did take one pic of it, maybe I'll post it in my pictures for ya's.
