what are you guys running for weigths, springs and how high is it reving ? i have s55 shaved to 53grams off the tip and dalton blk/ora spring with 5 .30 shims. at 53.6grams it would only hit 6500rpm i have a 1060 polaris orange spring but i would like to get the blk/ora working instead anyone running 53 gram weights?

I ran the blk/orange with stock weights and was able to keep 6500 rpms no problem. The only thing I can think of is that you are at a higher elevation and that will rob some power.I would think that with 53 weights it should be OK. Do you have a red/yellow to try? If not let me know your address and I will send you one out.Bubba

62g weights seem like an awful load on the motor what is your top rpm with those ?
belt grab would be good it would wheelie like a champ but you must of sacrificed some top end I found even 56g weights lost some rpm I am a big guy though too so it might have a bit to with it.
I am running at the moment a HPD violet secondary set at 2/2 a 44/38 HPD helix , HPD6plain primary engage 55 shiftout 215 and running 47.5 gram weights I was using 56g but I thought it was not reving out enough But I do not have a tach to check for sure.
Does my set up seem like it would be revving to high ? I would like to hear what ya all think.

I'm running stock 2003 400 Trailblazer stuff. Works great.
Running stock exhaust with Aaen silencer, V-Force reeds, 2-reed style stiff setting.
and a 42mm flat slide with 390 main and needle dropped all the way
25" tires and stock sprockets and it run great. 1250 deg. on temp probe
in 3/8ths mile.
