ok, i have a 2004 700twin, non EFI, and i want to get max power out of it. i have a mongoose big gun ehxaust on the way, not the muffler, just the headers, and stuff, i have a pipe bender, and im going to have dual ehxaust coming out on both sides, and im wondering what else i can do to get max power out of it. i have about $2000 to spend on it if needed.

Go get you a Hot cam that will wake that bad boy up.

 

A Heelclicker clutch kit would also be a nice addition to that cam.

how hard would it be to install the cam, i know its hard to get in there in the first place to work on anything, i hae a hell of a time, jsut changing the plugs. how good is the AAEN 40MM carb??? im thinking about starting with one of these, and a K&N filter. how much better is the hotcams cam, than a AAEN?? does edelbrock make a carb for a 700, i know they make one for predators?? any other performance mods out there?? any better exhaust kits??? i really want strait exaust, and i dont want to use that tiny factory header, noise doesnt matter, i want ti t sound good though, not like these racing ones, i think they sound horrible. also, the clutch, does it lower the top speed??? if so, to what??

Insatlling the cam took me around 5 to 6 hrs but I had the flu. The wosrt part is taking off all the plastic. Click here instructions. I have never used the AAEN carb I used the 40mm carb from a 500HO. Not for sure if the Hot cam is better than the AAEN but the Hot cam is built from a blank where the AAEN cam is welded stock cams that are ground back down. With the Hot cam there is no core charge so its $169.95 for the hot cam and thats alot better price than the AAEN cam. You can put a 800 header on your 700 like I did give you more tourqe in the bottom and mid range.

 

Oh yea a Heel clicker clutch will not hurt your top end. Alot of other brands will a little.

 

whats the 800 header, it will fit to a 700 enigine?? will it be better than a powertech4 header,a nd exhaust system, with strat exhuast, instead of using their muffler?? heres the link http://www.mbrp.com/atv/ this si what im thinking quad works power jet kit, hot cam, 40MM carb from AAEN, and some kind of an exhuast, the heelclicker clucth kit (where can this be found??), ITP wheels, and mudzilla 26" tires. anything im overlooking?? once again, funds dont reall ymatter.

The 800 header is the factory header from a 800 and will bolt up to a 700 with a few modifictions. I have never used a powertech4 so I don't know how it would compare. You could get a 800 header with a Pure wb silencer. You can go to www.heelclicker.com or go here for a discount and ask for cob. ok, i think thats what im going to do. is the jet kit a kit for the carb??? if so, i dont need the kit, just the filter, correct?? if so, which filter is the best?? and theres no other perf. mods out there?? i already have Warn 3.0, and a polaris brush guard, and its blue, so i think this thing will be sweeter than it already is. any big bore kits out there for it??
