Hi, I have a quetion that has been killing me lately. I cannot decide between a Warrior or a 300EX. I have heard that the 300EX is more reliable, but where I ride there is alot of Warriors. I ride in woods, trails, and some mud. So please suggest to me which one I should get. Thank You.

Mind you, hat you are asking this question in the Honda thread. I never had a hard time running with warriors on my stock 92 250X so I would go with the 300EX. I am a loyal Honda guy.

hondatrx, perhaps you like the way the 300 handles better than the Warrior, but "handles like crap" might be a little stong there. The Warrior is a fun Quad. Mine handles very well for what I use it for. Having fun tearing up trails and taking jumps. The 300ex does take off and land better than the Yama but I have to be a work on Mondays so I don't fly too high on the weekends.

They are both great machines. I've ridden both and because of my size I prefer the Honda. If I were a bigger person, the Warrior. The one thing I disliked about the Honda was the rev limiter, it kicked in too early. Other than than it was a great machine. It will turn on a dime, a little faster than the Warrior. The Warrior will beat it in a drag race, and I liked the way the engine would rev out. I had a 300EX for 6 years and never had to do anything but maintenence on it. Try them both out and see which you like the best.

LOL, nicely put in that last sentence TPnTX!!!!!! I can't stop laughing. All I can say is that I have a 2000 300ex and I love it. Just this weekend I went to the Marienville trails in Pennsylvania (the Marienville Bike/ATV trail and the Timberline trail). It has both tight woods sections and wide open logging roads. Two other guys riding with me were on 300 Kawasaki motorcycles. On the logging roads, they were right on my ***. In the tight sections, I could pull away no problem. I did get a FMF Powercore IV-2 and rejetted the carb. This help a helluva lot. I will say this, while I was waiting for my buddy's to catch up in the tight woods section, a guy on a Warrior went by me. He must of been moving pretty good to go by me like that. Yes, the rev limiter does cut in too early, and yes the 300ex jumps damn good (that also has a lot to do with how big your ***** are and if you have to go to work the next day!!!!). hahaha

Yes, I too hope that I will someday have big enough ***** to get big air... but I watch those videos (Huevos, Quatros Locos), and I don't see myself doing that anytime soon, haha!
