i got my kfx today i love it its an 03..... awsome smooth power reverse is sweet it runs mint also raced my buddys blaster his is a 03 also smoked it pretty bad hes got a fmf pipe jeted an air box mod ....ya we raced on pavemeant about 3-4 times same thing every time..... i know its only a blaster but i still won my first race on my new toy... soon i will me needing some mods....

 

also whats going to happen when i race my buddys v force tomrrow hes got fmf pipes and a little clutch work we will have to race on pavemeant being theres still snow up here also he weights around 220-230 and i only weigh about 150 i would half to asume he is going to beat me till i get some mods but who knows

 

Even if you were piped and filtered he'd still beat you, especially with his pipes and clutch work.

The v-force will smoke the 400 ...at stock!! let alone the few mods he has... but the 400 is nothing to sneeze at either...good luck w/ it!!

 

I'm not so optimistic about him beating you. Your talking about almost 100lbs weight difference. That's a bunch for a small motor to overcome. It will slow the V out of the hole and the V does not have a good top speed.
I think it will be a very good race!!!!!

i will definetly let u guys know i like hearing about races my self even if he wins man do i love my kfx could not of made a better choice

 

yeah im on the same page as u i just got a brand new 2005 kfx 400 and i love the thing [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] and i cant wait to go racing

 

a was glad i got the kfx dont take your air box lid off mine ran like crap i would half to asume u have to rejet let be no when u start modding yours

 

oh yeh for all you non believers i beat him we only raced twice on pavemeant.....i also dropped a tooth on the front sprocket but yeh i think he was afraid of launching that thing cause i beat him out of the hole and stayed in front for a good 300 ft but my buddy who was watching said he was right behind me oh yeh when we race from like 5mph he jumps on me every time but i stay right there ... and yes i do believe that if we raced on anything but pavemeant he would have one... but hey a win is a win
i am just a little proud of my new ride.... once i get new tires a pipe,jets,airbox i dont think he will beat me at all.....
