Post on skid plates

There are several previous postings on skid plates. I have a Pro Armor I bought from another member.

Well that was a detour ... Read that whole post and not one mention of a Roll Design swingarm skidplate. I am also interested in the Roll Design skidplate, so would like to see what people have to say about it.

No detour, just one post of more then 15 that are speaking about different skid plates. Just do a search and after reading the past opinions you can be more specific then just saying "What do you think of Roll Design skid's"

But what if we were only asking about the Roll Design skid, and not the others?

There doesn't seem to be much discussion with regards to the Roll Design skid.
I know that they are only .190 thick, where as the Pro Armor are a full .250 thick.
Other then that I can't help you. Keep trying, sometimes it takes a couple of days to get the information you are looking for.

I just bought one on ebay last night...at $54 seemed like a good deal. BajaX, did you ever buy one?
When I get mine installed, I'll give a full report!

yes I got one off ebay.
I have not installed it yet.
I will have to do some drilling. It came with a 2 hole pattern and my swing arm has a 4 hole pattern.

whats with that? I bought thee different skid plates for my 04 DS and none of them fit. The manufacturers say they fit DS650’s but they don’t fit the 04-05’s the only one that fit was the last one I bought. It bolted on with no problems and is ¼ thick I got it at full throttle junkies .com So be care full what you buy. Make sure it specifies 04-05
