Default 04 Sp600 for an 05 800?

New member to the forum and thought I would ask for some opinions. I have a 2004.5 SP 600 I bought in October. Have 300 miles and 68 hrs on it. I really like the new SP 800. Do you think I would take a beating on a trade? I have modded it with front brush guard, front and rear rack extenders, polaris mud skirts and a ramsey 3000 lb. remote control winch. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Another option you have is to sell your 600 outright - Spring is here and quad sales are the best this time of the yr.... I was looking for a Sportsman to buy at a descent price used for the last 3 months and there just aren't that many for sale ! - The majority of the ones for sale were 2002 700 Sportmans ( they wer Poli's first yr. with the 700 and had some bugs to be worked out) that I saw... They hold their value for sure - I ended up buying a 2005 800 EFI Sporty because most of the ones for sale were $5-6000... I'm glad I did - this quad is a beast with tons of low end torque !!

your right in that I see most of the 600/700's that are 1-3 years old and they go for not much less than a new model. I know these machines hold value but when I see guys trying to get almost what they paid for the quad back out of them it just doesn't make sense to me. accessories don't add value to the quad in general and most dealers tend not to account for the accessories, the add ons do act as eye candy for a buyer though. I would say try to sell the quad outright first then if you don't sell it you could always take the accessories off and trade in the quad then you could try to redeem some of your spent money back from the ad ons.
