Default Yamoto 70 and 110 chassis

I am looking at the yamoto 70 and 110cc machines. It appears as though the difference between the two is the size of the engine, tires, and the 110 is shaft drive. So are the dimensions of the frame ect. the same? It appears to me that they use one frame and just change a few of the "bolt on" items to go from a 70 to a 110. DOes anyone know if that is the case? anyone ever measure?

He said it was deleiverd in pieces..In other words,it will be quite a bit to put together opposed to other ATVs that need assembling..The 70cc is also a shaft drive with an automatic transmission.

Thanks muddy, not sure why i was thinking that the 70 was chain drive. I guess i should be more specific in what i am looking for. I am trying to decide weather to buy a 70 or 110 for my kid. There are a couple of things i am concerned with. I do not want to buy a quad that is to b ig for her, but since she is graduating from her 50, which is way to small for her at this point, she will be riding on trails with us. Tire size is important where we ride because of the numerous ruts, and rocky terrrain where there arenb't ruts. I was going to buy a 70, but if the frame size and ergo's are the same, then the cost of buying the larger tires would equal the cost of just buying a 110 with the larger wheels. I do however feel that it is important not to get an oversize machine for her. BTW she is 54 inches tall, if anyone want to comment on how they might fit these machines.

My son is 50" tall and he fits the Kazuma rfx 110 really well. Alot of room to grow also. If you do not want somthing that is too tall then the Yamoto 110 is a little shorter than the Kazuma rfx 110. Dont get the 70 because it has no reverse. It is a pain to not have reverse. The Yamoto 110 has better mud protection while the Kazuma does not. If I were to do it again I would get the Yamoto 110 instead of the Kazuma rfx110.

My son is 52",a nd he fits well on the Yamoto 150. I set the throttle to 25mph, so he doesn't go too fat. The 70 and 110 use the same frame. I would go for the 110 if I were you. Just do all the mods you find on here and you will be fine. Don't try and get away without doing the loctite and air filter mods, or you will be wasting money down the road.

Im going NUTS trying to find a replacement spark plug for my new 70cc Yamoto.I've been to 4 differant auto parts store and not one of them can cross referance the A7RTC spark plug that comes stock in the 70cc..They all have NO IDEA what brand spark plug it is so they can cross referance it?

And the owners manual is a JOKE..I have NO IDEA who printed this manual up,but it needs to be taken off the market..It improperly shows a photo on page 4-5 and 6 that indicated the right front lever as being the REAR brake, and the left front lever as being the front brake,COMPLETELY wrong..

Call John at Raceway atv. He will have them or give you a cross number. If I were you I would order a dozen of them so you will have them for the future.

I called John at Raceway at least a dozen times last Friday and every attempt to reach him allways resulted in a busy signal.

Somebody else said that a Champion z9y would work.I will try that spark plug?

RICK,
A big hello back at yah..

I found the correct NKG spark plug for the Yamoto, thanks to the champion part # that ROMAN gave me in another part of this same forum..It is a NKG C7HSA and worked perfectly..

I dialed in the air/fuel mixture and she performs well now.
