Default 2003 P650 Success!

I posted awhile ago about my P650 problems -- no power & belt light. I learned from this website that the P650 has a 100 hour limp mode that trips the belt light. I replaced the battery, did the procedure on nyroc's website and it is working. Belt light cleared and the power is back. Great info. This website and nyroc's website are awesome. Saved me the trip to the service department.

Just to wrap up, I don't know if the belt light came on due to 100 hours (seems like I am long past that number) or if it came on due to bad battery. For all you P650 owners out there, if the battery dies, you might be in for a belt reset procedure. I do recommend disconnecting the KEBC motor cable during the procedure -- it doesn't hurt and saves the effort of getting the forks back into position if you remove the CVT cover.

Thanks to all ya'll.
