use up existing stock of 500 regular
parts and intro a Magnum HO 500 soon.

 

They would be stupid not to. They have it at their disposal, all it would do would be to put the Mag over the Griz in the shootouts. That is, if its not already there.

 

I agree. Earlier, dealers were getting memos saying the mag would be HO. Now they are saying that Polaris wants to have more of a difference between the SP and the Mag. Sounds like someone needs to get rid of some existing stock.

 

I sure hope they do! I think they will wait until next year to make sure the Sportsman stays king of the hill, but if they are dropping the 400 Xplorer (or all the 2 cycles from rumor) by 2002, they will need something to replace it. I know I would like a shaft drive, and the 4 cycle engine, but why would I want to buy a machine that is heavier, slower, and cost more than what I had.
