Default New Paint Job

I wanted to paint my plastic but am worried about paint cracking when it bends. Just thinking about how much it flaps in the wind in the back of the truck. I could get the paint done professionally from someone I know for cheap so can kinda go all out but dont wanna if its just gonna flake off. I figured if i use a flexible primer, paint and clearcoat I should be good. What u think? Any paint suggestions?

I wouldn't do it. I would just spend the extra money and get aftermarket plastics. Is it giong to be the same color as your current plastics or a brand new color? What kind of quad is it?

if it is the same color it is extremely easy process but if you are changing colors it is always easier to go to a darker color than what you already have

They have the basic colors, like red, blue, black, etc. Nothing to fancy, when painting, make sure you follow the directions EXACTLY or it will chip.

Its a Polaris 400 sport - Its yellow and was gonna paint it black. I was nervous about that fusion paint becuase it seems people either love it and hate it and I dont wanna be on the negative side when its all over. I have someone who does cars andhas a booth and would paint and clear coat it for me after i primed it, but I wasnted to see if anyone here had any experience with this. He doesnt think it will be a problem at all but hes never done a 4 wheeler before.

Yeah but for example if its a Raptor you cant change the hoods on the aftermarket plastics...
