Default Power Pack on Brute Force 750?

Just wondering if anyone has put a ICM Power Pack on a brute force 750. Ive read that this could give the engine an extra 6 horsepower.

Any modules work on the bf750. I but the dg5 on mine for over 7HP more. It was scary at first until now you get used to it. It sure eats up the stock tires fast though.

Did you notice any change to your mid range or top end speed? Right now with that sport utility clutch in will only hit about 66 or 67.

It can get to top speed alot faster than before, top speed is about the same at 69mph. I raced bf750s with the dyna and only difference is they eventually go about 71. the best holeshot alway wins. I have my dg5 hide so the dyna brutes get real mad cause they think mine is a fast stock one. The way to add top end is to machine the clutch parts. I dont know how but some here have done it.

Is it hard to install the dg5 power cube and where did you get it at?

One other question newBF750rider....do you have to rejet the machine after installing a module? I'm interested in doing this to mine, but don't want to screw with the carbs. Let me know. Thanks.

So do you think the dg5 is better than the ICM power pack. And is the ICM power pack the holeshot ignition, because I have that.

They all do the same thing. Take away the low end timing retart by making your CDI thinking the engine RPM's are high than what they are. the timing will be at 28* at low RPM's instead of 10*. You won't have to rejet.

The dg5 is easy to put on, just some wires to connect. I did it in 20 minutes and I was slow about it. I called to order it at 714-299-3865. One of the reason I went with the dg5 is so I wouldn't have to re-jet like with the dyna cdi. I like the dg5 better than HL module. Its more advanced features, has more hp gain but is still half price of cdi. Plus dg5 is made here in the USA and DGR's tech support is the engineer that made it. Somewhere I read that the HL module is made elswhere in Canada or Mexico. Maybe that is why it is cheap? If you get the dg5. be careful at first. I almost flipped my brute over cause I tried it first on the driveway! You should have seen the two black marks it made all the way out to the street. Once I got careful with it, I remounted the dg5 so it is hid. Now I look stock when I beat them. One guy said I peeled the label off of a dyna cdi. After seeing the reverse overide work, his head was spinning. He had the dyna cdi and couldn't beat me!
