needle in carb <84 200x>

Default needle in carb

hey i was wondering what slot my needle should be set on in the carb? also i rejetted my carb to a 115 after riding i pulled the plug and it was whitish should i go to a bigger jet? also i just got my kand n filter today will this affect my jetting? thanks

2nd groove from the bottom for a stock motor.

Any mods may change this.

The K & N will make it even leaner than it is right now.

It depends on if its lean on the low end, mid-range or wide open throttle for what has to be changed.

the motor is bored 20 over and has a dg exhaust and head pipe? when i get to high rpms it seems to cut out a little bit?? any help is appreciated thanks

Yes, try a bigger jet. Go way bigger (until plug is rich) and work your way down to the nice caramel color.

You'll need a new top end if you keep running it like you are and you'll not last very long at all with the addition of the K&N.

However, if you do burn a piston, you'll then be able to put in the high compression version, port the intake/exhaust, and get a higher lift/duration cam.
