I ordered my new Razers today! 21/7/10 front & 20/11/9 rear, hope this will be alot better than the stock ones i have, hopefully i quit doing the "tippy" next will be Works shocks-dual rates/no rezzies, is this right guys? Doris

 

sounds good. I've never noticed my 300ex being tippy with my holeshots. A flatter profile tire always helps. Stupid Radials

Do you really think you need the new shocks? 300 could be spent on motor mods. The stock 300ex is pretty good, unless you have blew them out.

 

the guys here tell me i need the shocks, i think so, i won't get beat to death over all those little jumps/hills! lol, i have the BIG GUN exhaust system, that helps, any more suggestions? really appreciate your help, Doris

 

I've never messed with shocks, i will on after christmas..if you don't have them by then i will let you know what i think..

I'd add a high comp piston and a cam..

anyways, tonight i just got my 2000 300ex.. and well its tippy as all heck!

Its those darn back tires. I'm ordering some Bandits ASAP!

my 94 never ever got tippy. I went around a turn like i always do and brought it right up on 2 wheels

Get a Wiseco High Compression piston, in standard size(no reason to over bore). I'm not sure what the highest compression ratio is for pump gas. Talk to your dealer he can tell you.

after getting that done alone with a pipe for 80 buck www.ctracting.com Ct racing will mod you CDI box so you don't have an RPM limit.

Then you will be cooking down the trails!

 

i'll check into the cam, i don't know a great deal about this atv stuff, thats why i check here almost nightly, i'm learning all about this stuff, i think it comes natural for guys though
