Could I buy a high rev cdi for a 400ex and put it on a 250x ? Because I cant find one for a 250x

Dont believe so, sorry. You'd be better off trying to get one from a 300ex to work, but I still think it wouldn't.

So a 300ex cdi wouldnt work.
